BOOERIE CREEK FLYING STAR

Sire: Star Black Minstril

Dam: Homeview Flight by Radius

Booerie Creek Flying Star is a topped placed stallion at numerous National Championships in many different classes such as working stallion and campdrafts. His oldest progeny are going well. They show their sire’s ability & keenness to learn. Rosebrook Lancer was named the 2006 Ladies Rookie Polocrosse horse for NSW after his first season.

Dam: Kimlock Jubilee (ASH) by Kimlock who was by Enry Higgins

Skylock has never been broken due to lose of eye as colt. His performance comes from his progeny

Bengoran Mai Ly - Best Ladies Horse Australian Masters 2005, played for UK in World Cup, Won Best 3 Intermediate player at NSW Zone 2008, Best No 1 in Masters at Nationals 2006.

Simmaron was only lightly shown, winning supreme lead at his last show, he also won and placed in working events, stock horse challenges, camp drafts and time trails.

Simmaron has a excellent temperament and can be ridden bareback by a child to run his mares in from the paddock.

A number of Simmoaron’s progeny have now represented NSW at state level in Polocrosse, they have also placed in working events and camp drafts

Dam: J Star Felicity Champion Polocrosse mare, representing NSW on numerous occasions. Best ASH at the Nationals in Capel in WA,  Supreme playing pony at the ASH Nationals at Canberra and many other polocrosse awards. Also winner of campdrafts, working classes and supreme led exhibits. J Star Challenge was only prepared as a three year old for the ASH National Futurity in which he wasplaced and then was retired to stud as you can’t play stallions polocrosse.

He is a closed book stallion which means he doesn’t stand to the public. Export Certified

He has produced numerous good polocrosse ponies including J Star All for Love, J Star Spellbound, J Star Edison, J Star Eastwood, J Star Can Can, J Star Oaklands etc. Royal show winners including  Kirala Encore, New World Faramir, National Show Winner J Star Timeless. The outstanding young mare J Star Wings winner Champion mare over 15 hands ASH NSW Championships, placed National Futurity, Hack and working classes accept for this years Sydney Royal. The one day event champion J Star Bushranger. The Heritage Horse Ride Horses J Star Kookaburra and J Star Can Can. The bulk of his progeny are very good types with good temperaments and ability.

His progeny are always in demand when we have them for sale and command good prices. At the recent Rosebrook Sale a 4 year old gelding by him made $7 400.

ROSERIDGE HEAT

Hawthorne Belle - oldest progeny Consistently winning & placing in ASH classes. Came 6th overall in the Futurity at 2007 Nationals.

Hawthorne Maverick – full brother won Queensland Men’s ASH Rookie Polocrosse Horse 2005.

Hawthorne Eldorado – full brother won Queensland Men’s ASH Rookie Polocrosse Horse 2007.

Hawthorne Rush played 12 goal polo in his first season in 2006. At the West Moreton ASH Futurity he finished 5th in the cattle work section as a three year old. He has been lightly campdrafted and is ‘mister versatile’ with a great nature. His oldest progeny are four years old and showing his great nature and ability.

A lovely looking horse with a wonderful temperament.

Doug Webb is a known horseman and has bred outstanding polocrosse ponies for the past 30 years.

Free and Easy’s oldest progeny are 3 years old and are going well. He is out of a Star Black Minstrel mare and is by Star Black Minstrel, so giving  a rare cross of that horse.
