Hi All

I have added the ability for the site to keep everyone up to date via email. Each time a new post is added to the site, a daily digest of the posts will be sent to the list of subscribers. If you get this email you are on the subscriber list, If you want off the list go to Subscribe and enter the address you want removed. But you will miss all the good stuff.

This web site supports two classes of subscribers, the general public, and registered users of the blog. The general public may subscribe and unsubscribe, and they will receive a daily email notification of new posts. Most of you were added this way, but you can upgrade.

Registered users of the site can elect to receive email notifications in plain text or HTML, the amount of message (excerpt or full post), and the categories to which they want to subscribe. Register user are also given the rights to add content to the web site or edit content they have posted.

There is another way to keep up to date, you can use the RSS Feed and the RSS for Comments to have post headlines delivered to your computer browser, news reader or home page. Here is an explanation of RSS.

The site has two types of posts or documents, static pages (listed on the top and bottom Navigation ribbons) and categories. Categories are listed in the top right hand box, and are organized by subject. Posts can be commented on or modified if you posted them.

Events are a special post. They are listed under the events category by entry date and under the event tab of the right sidebar by date. Event dates show in red on the calendar, holding your cursor over them will show event details. Scroll back and forth through the months with the buttons at the top. Add the dates to to our Outlook calendar with the middle button. The next 8 upcoming events are list under the calendar.

The news tab is a list of 10 random polocrosse news paper articles from Google news feed. Click on the head line to read the whole article.

Archive tab lists posts by date entered.

Tags are key word in posts that are linked together. The larger the type the more popular the word. Clicking on a word will take you to all the articles using the word.

Have a look, add some new posts, make some comments, suggest some new subjects, send me some missing info or pictures. Contact me if you are having trouble, comment or concerns.
