2011 Season
It has been nearly 3 months since those who were still playing, competed at the zone championships! It’s hard to believe how quickly that time has come and gone. Congratulations and a HUGE thank you to everyone for all of their hard-work in ensuring the zone championships ran smoothly. It would be too hard to thank everyone individually however those who helped should give themselves a massive pat on the back. The running of the event was threatened by rain a week out, however the sun shone brightly and warmly for the Saturday and Sunday, albeit with a little rain on the Saturday night which unfortunately did dampen our celebrations a little. Except for a few items which we will learn from for next time, the feedback was that the carnival was very well run and we should all be very proud of ourselves.
For those who are still polocrosse keen, the green horse practices have commenced on Sunday’s at Bong Bong at 10am. Don’t worry the 2012 season will be here before we know it! It is expected that the 2012 carnival dates will be listed on the NSW Polocrosse website (www.nswpolocrosse.com.au) soon so keep an eye out for them. It has been confirmed that Narrabri will be running the 2012 Club Championships after their wash-out this year. Also on the website is information regarding a large range of international tours running next year, so check them out!

Fundraising
We have again been asked to assist the Bowral Show society in 2012 by running their canteen. The show will be on Saturday 7 and Sunday 8 January. Please start thinking about your availability and let Claire Kilby know if you can assist over one or both of the days. This is a very easy way for us to make money, so please be involved!
If anyone has any other good ideas for easy fundraising, please let Belinda know.
